Our white & rosé wines

Wine list – White & Rosé

Below you will find our selection of white and rosé wines

Chemin Des Pins Marsanne Viognier

Viognier is one of those grapes that really does taste like the fruit descriptors we see on restaurant menus. It has really clear aromas and flavours of peach and apricot, often with hints of spice alongside. Marsanne also tends to show fruity flavours, though closer to pears and apples. We think the combination works well.

Esprit des Roches blanc

A lovely, easy-drinking white wine which works great as an aperitif or with food.

5 Sources Cuvee Philippe 2016

This wine is a unique and charming blend of Viognier, Colombard and Chardonnay grapes that come together to create a rich, spicy flavour with undertones of apple crumble. A great all-rounder from the Languedoc region of France.

Domaine Horgelus Colombard Sauvignon 2016

The Domaine was founded in 1978 by Joseph Le Menn. Today it is run by his son Yoan, who comes from the young generation of winemakers who seek to combine modernity and traditional experience. The marriage of Colombard and Sauvignon grapes reveal citrus and floral aromas, very refreshing and full of flavours.

Turckheim Gewürztraminer Vielles Vignes

A really quality example of a Gewürztraminer – fruity, heady, sweet fruit but not excessively sugary. Rich & honeyed.

Chateaux de la Roulerie

This is from Coteaux du Layon, one of our favourite (and most affordably priced) sweet wine producing regions. Made the same way as the great sweet wines from Bordeaux. This will have all the classic dried apricot and citrus peel notes, as well as plenty of acidity to balance the sweetness.

Cuvee Les Thureaux Domaine Joseph Mellot

Excellent classic tree and exotic fruits. Light and fresh but mouth-coating and with a very long finish. This is a sauvignon blanc from Menetou Salon which is a neighbour of Sancerre but much less famous.

Domaine Rois Mages Rully Blanc

A gorgeous rich and full-bodied white wine which stands up really well to rich food. A delicious treat!

Chateau Salettes Nicolas Boyer Rosé

Known as the best area (Bandol) within the best rosé region in the world (Provence). This is a fresh wine without the excessive fruit of new world rosés.
