End of Season Ski Video Round-up
The Morzine Avoriaz ski season is over and the AliKats team are gearing up for the summer season.
What better time to look back at some of the unexpected/surprising/slightly scary things people have been doing on skis!? We’ve scoured the web and compiled some of our favourites below.
It almost goes without saying, but don’t try any of these at home. Except the cat one. Definitely try the cat one.
1. Motorcross + skiing
Motorcross is a sport you’d sooner associate with mud than snow. But what can’t be improved with snow, skis and some… rope?
2. Cat pulling a skier
Jesper the cat and part-time husky has become a celebrity in Hedmark, Norway. He has his own blog in a local newspaper and more than 70,000 followers on Facebook.
3. Skiing + a… jetpack?!
We don’t know why Ski Cross World Champion Filip Flisar owns an actual working jetpack. We’re just glad he does.
4. Heather hopping
Some people take the end of the ski season better than others. This especially determined group of Scottish skiers are in the ‘denial’ phase.
