Favourite Food Winners: Source Awards for Excellence 2017

Food is central and important part of the AliKats story. We spend a lot of time thinking about it, writing about it, and a lot of time planning and preparing it – all to give our guests something a bit special.

That’s why we’re exceptionally proud to announce that we’ve won the 2017 Source Awards for Excellence for Favourite Food, beating out 17 different local Morzine eateries in the process.

A huge thank you to every one of our guests that took the time to vote, helping the AliKats team secure the award for the 3rd year running!

What’s next for the AliKats kitchen?

Not to rest on our laurels, we have moved to a centralised kitchen model for 2017. That means two chefs preparing most of our dishes in a central kitchen and then bringing it to the chalet kitchens to be finished off and presented.

This is an important step, helping ensure consistent, quality food each and every meal, and allowing our hosts focus on… well, hosting!

It’ll also be increasingly important as we introduce new chalets and help us keep the same high standards across all of our chalets.
