Video blog: report on latest snow conditions plus clips of Al & Kat skiing in the powder!

Kat and I got to have our first ski together of the season so far today, having been full-on with the chalets in Morzine throughout December so far. It was worth the wait. We were out for 2.5 hours and were totally spent after skiing off-piste the whole time. Here is a selection of videos from the day, including a snow report from yours truly..

Here we are on our first chair lift. You will have to trust me when I tell you that is Kat under all that garb..

First off here is the snow report…

This is Al skiing the Satellite run, which is a short hike from the top of the Chaux Fleurie chairlift, down towards Lindarets

This is Kat hopping over some rocks in Chatel

Then we met a woman with a LIVE mouse in her helmet…

This is Al skiing through Happy valley in Chatel

This is the ride-out of the Satellite run. Normally, much less gnarly than this and definitely needs a bit more snow!

So, all in all, it was a great day out with lots of powder off-piste but still more required to get back to usual standards.
