The Weekly Market

Every Wednesday from 8 am until midday, Morzine’s weekly market is the perfect place to find local produce. Browse artisan cheeses; fruit and vegetables; meat, fish and delicious charcuterie—perfect for a picnic or a cosy chalet dinner.

La Ferme de Seraussaix Morzine Avoriaz

La Ferme de Seraussaix

Nestled on the mountainside on the road up to Avoriaz, the beautiful Seraussaix farm offers breathtaking views and the chance to book a farm visit followed by a tasting session. L’Alpage – La Fruitière de Morzine

A working dairy farm with a shop and cheese cellar in the heart of Morzine, L’Alpage produces delicious local cheeses, sausages, hams, and preserves. Guided tours run every Wednesday morning from 9 am to 9.30 am, where cheese maker Nicolas shares his expertise and gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the cheese cellar.

Nordic skiing

The Morzine area is ideal for discovering cross country skiing. You don’t need to use the ski lifts or buy a lift pass for this activity,  and there are several stunning ‘Ski de Fond’ tracks, including Vallee de la Manche, Pleney, Les Chavanness and Super Morzine. Away from the crowds, you’ll have time to take in the views and enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains.

The most eco-friendly way to reach Morzine is by train. The train journey from the UK takes around a day and involves the Eurostar and a fast TGV train.
