Check-in is from 4pm

Check-out by 10am

In our catered chalets, unfortunately this is not possible. The changeover day is a long day for our chalet teams and it is important to us that they have sufficient time to both prepare the chalet to a sparkling standard for new arrivals and to take a break between their breakfast and cleaning shift and returning to welcome their next guests. You are of course welcome to drop bags; please liaise with us to arrange this.

In our self catered chalets, we are on occasion able to offer an early check in or late check out. Subject to availability, charges are as follows:

  • 12:00hrs check in €150 Incoming guests are welcome to leave bags from 11:00hrs. Out going guests are welcome to leave bags until 15:00hrs.
  • 14:00hrs check in €50

  • 12:00hrs check out €100
  • Later check out €200

Please do let us know if you’re interested in an alternative check in/out time.

Availability will be confirmed the week prior to your booking.

Can we leave bags before check in/after check out?
Absolutely!
Please liaise with us to arrange this.
Can we leave bags or park before check in/after check out?
Most of our chalets have ample parking that makes this possible; however, parking is chalet dependent as our cleaning teams require access during the changeover period.
Please enquire with us for more details.

For early arrivals and late departures we’ll do our best to provide a changing area wherever possible and store your bags while you ski on the first/last day.

Incoming guests are welcome to leave bags from 11:00hrs. Out going guests are welcome to leave bags until 15:00hrs.

For your arrival day you can arrange for your skis to be fitted on the morning you arrive at the chalet with our ski hire partner, ski mobile.

Note if you are departing late on your final day we may need to arrange an alternative collection location for your transfer back to the airport.

On request, we can provide travel cots, sterilisers, changing mats, potties, bed guards, toilet steps, toilet seats and high chairs. Ask us in advance and we will make sure you have what you need when you arrive.

In our catered chalets yes, just let us know on which day you’d like it and what the birthday boy or girl’s favourite type of cake is.

All our catered chalets are located in the Montriond area of Morzine:

  • 6-8 min drive to the super-fast Ardent telecabine which takes you straight into the heart of the Avoriaz ski area.
  • This means we are able to make the AliKats ski time pledge: We will get you skiing 10-15 minutes quicker than if you stayed in a central Morzine chalet!
  • 6-8 min drive to Morzine town centre.

However, the most important thing you need to know about the location of our catered chalets is that you won’t have to walk anywhere unless you want to! Our driver service will take you anywhere you want to go in and around Morzine when they are on duty!

We have had the following feedback from our guests on our driver service which will hopefully give you a feel of how it works:

“The Alikats system of bus runs to the lifts and the superb ‘on-call’ driver resulted in the most relaxed and hassle free ski-trip I have ever experienced – even better than the supposed ski-in/ski-out resorts I have been to” Laura, Jan 2016

The driver service goes anywhere in the Morzine resort. The closest lifts are the Ardent gondola, which is just 6-8 minutes from our catered chalets and takes you right into the middle of the Avoriaz ski area. Or choose the Pleney gondola, which gives you access to the Morzine/Les Gets ski area.

We can do lifts to the Prodains gondola as well but it is a much longer journey from the chalet so it is only advisable to use this lift if you are an absolute beginner and you have a lesson meeting at the top of the Prodains gondola.

Please note, the driver service does not go up to Avoriaz by road.

Our catered chalets all have an alcohol license that only allows alcohol which has been purchased on the premises to be consumed within it, so please don’t buy any from duty free on your way through the airport.
