Al – Co-Founder

After an interesting but ultimately unrewarding 13 years working in banking in London and Geneva, I made the move into full time mountain life and have never looked back. I oversee the commercial and business-change side of AliKats and I am also the co-founder and president of Montagne Verte, an environmental NGO which pioneers a low-carbon circular alpine economy so that future generations can thrive here in Morzine. My office time rarely exceeds 25 hours/week and the rest of my time is spent in the mountains & parenting my 3 kids. Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn

Kat – Co-Founder

Following an unfulfilling career in media sales in London, I was looking for a new challenge when I met Al and I already had one eye on the mountains. Since 2010, we have been living here in Morzine and I now have a life creating interesting menus, recruiting and managing our wonderful team looking after our 3 gorgeous children. Al and I are also on the board of trustees for local environmental charity Montagne Verte

Beca – Head of Operations

In 2017 I took a break from the corporate world and disappeared with my bike Brynmor to New Zealand. In 2018 Brynmor and I arrived in Morzine and it was then that the career break became a total lifestyle change… I have lived in the Alps (on and off) since (thanks to those infamous “B” and “C” words). It’s a privilege to live in a place that most people only get a glimpse of on holiday and to share it with our guests.  I’m committed to making sustainable choices and decreasing the impact that holidays have on our planet so it’s a joy to be part of the likeminded Alikats team making a real commitment to protecting our planet and investing in its future.

Grace – Sales Team

I’m thrilled to have joined the AliKats sales team! After graduating, I needed a change – and I’ve been calling Morzine home for the past 3 years, living with what’s essentially a postcard view on my doorstep. What drew me to AliKats was their commitment to incredible client experiences while protecting our planet. When I’m not working, you’ll find me exploring new mountain trails with my rescue dog – there’s always another adventure waiting!

Hector – dog

Hector is the youngest member of the AliKats team but is very keen to learn. His enthusiasm and energy are contagious and he can often be found urging the team on with encouraging barks. While Hector has never skied or snowboarded before, he is hoping to find his feet on the snow this season. He is also very much looking forward to meeting our wonderful guests.

Nik – Resort Manager

Hi, I’m Rich. Together with my wife, Nik, I’m back for my fourth winter season and my third one with AliKats. I love being in the mountains; partially as a former geologist, but also because I feel so free when I’m on my skis. And doing it in tune with AliKats’ ethos of reducing our impact on the environment as much as possible makes it even better. I can’t wait to meet you all and help you have an amazing time in this fabulous environment.

Ben – Maintenance manager

I’ve been a joiner for the last ten years, working around the beautiful countryside of England.This is my first season, inspired by one of my triplet brothers, Dan. He worked the past two winter seasons and absolutely loved it, I just had to get involved! I will be working alongside my other brother Joe too. I have a strong passion for skiing and the mountains. It’s always been a dream of mine to live and work in the Alps and I cannot wait for my dream to become a reality and its all thanks to Alikats!

James – Chalet Bizet & Debussy chef

It is my absolute pleasure to return for a second season with AliKats as chalet chef, along with my wife Grace.  After another busy summer of event bars at the racing and cricket I can’t wait to get back to the glorious mountains of the Portes Du Soleil.

I’ve got a bet with myself that I can cover every run in the whole region this season so here’s hoping for great snow! Failing that you will catch me in the snow park, but not until March…

I’ve been a head chef in a beautiful pub hotel on the South Downs for a few years and can’t wait to trade the countryside for the mountains. I’ve skied my whole life and have always dreamt of working in a chalet. My wonderful girlfriend Sinead and I are dedicated to providing excellent hospitality and hope to give guests a memorable trip. I’m thrilled to be a part of a AliKats where I can let my enthusiasm and passion shine through alongside an amazing team. If I’m not cooking up a storm or carving up the mountain you’ll probably find me watching the football with a cold beer.

Sinead – Chalet Bizet & Debussy host

The past 5 years I’ve been honing my craft in all sectors of hospitality and have always pushed to learn new skills. Having never been skiing before what better way to learn than jumping in the deep end and doing a season! I enjoy everything arts and crafts meaning I have a great eye for detail which reflects in my work. I’m passionate about interacting with guests and providing the best experience possible, so I can’t wait to be a part of the AliKats team who share the same values. You’re most likely to see me with a book in hand or helping my boyfriend Tom in the kitchen to keep you well fed.

Evana – Chalet Ferme à Jules Chef

As an American chef, my world revolves around two things: incredible flavor and connection. I’ve been fortunate enough to cook in many different countries, which fuels my love for exploring the outdoors, trying new global foods, and meeting people from all walks of life. I’m so excited to welcome you personally alongside my husband and host, Tom.

Kevin – Chalet Ferme à Jules Host

Bonjour a tous, je m’ appelle Kevin. Originally from England, my wife and I moved to the Loire Valley in 2018 for a fresh start, better wine, and fewer queues. In summer, we run cycling holidays through vineyards and châteaux, living the French dream at a steady pace. But apparently that wasn’t adventurous enough, so we added winter to the mix too. Now we co-host a ski chalet for Alikats with four other legends — despite the small detail that I don’t actually ski. While others charge up mountains, we keep the chalet running with strong coffee, big meals, calm problem-solving, and cheerful organisation. It’s busy, brilliant, and full of great stories.

Hi everyone, my name’s Denise! I have worked in catering and hospitality for many years passionately providing a personable experience for guests. I’m in my happy place cooking, baking and looking after people and am delighted to be working for Alikats here in the beautiful Alps this winter season.

Kellymae – Flexi Team

Hi, I’m Kellymae, born and raised in Australia, but Ireland is my second home which makes me excited to explore more of Europe. After spending two incredible years in Canada doing ski seasons, I realised I couldn’t get enough of that lifestyle and so, I moved to the Alps. I love snowboarding, exploring new terrain, and living where the mountains are always just outside my door.

Zoe – Flexi Team

Hi I’m Zoe, I’m from a surf town on the East Coast of Australia and I have been working seasonal jobs in hospitality around the world. After living in the Canadian Rockies for the previous two years, I could not get enough of the mountains. I was lucky enough to join the AliKats team this past summer and I’m excited for my first winter season in the Alps.

Maria Felicitas – Flexi Team

Hi everyone, I’m Feli! I genuinely enjoy looking after people and creating a warm, calm atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable. My background working with families, children and women in vulnerable moments has taught me to be patient, attentive and reassuring; qualities that I bring naturally into the chalet. I love organising spaces, noticing what people need before they ask, and adding small touches that make guests feel truly cared for. Throughout the season, my aim is to bring kindness, steadiness and a sense of home to every stay.

Joe – Driving Team

Hi, I’m Joe, born in the sunny East Midlands in England. By trade, I am a fibre optics engineer. I, however, have decided to trade in climbing telegraph poles and pulling cables in the pouring rain for a life in the mountains, shredding snow, on my skis, doing what I love in a place that I love. The love runs deep in my family, I am working alongside my triplet brother Ben and we are both following in the footsteps of our other brother, Dan who worked for Alikats throughout the previous two seasons.
