Gourmet Grill Video Recipe 4/5: Perfect Pork Souvlaki

The simple and fresh flavours of garlic, lemon and oregano are all you need to make delicious pork souvlaki. Juicy, zesty and mouth-wateringly good, these Greek skewers are sure to become a BBQ favourite.

Ingredients (to make 6 skewers)

  • 250ml lemon juice

  • 250ml olive oil

  • 4 cloves of garlic

  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 750g pork loin or tenderloin

Method

  • Add all marinade ingredients into a large bowl

  • Cut the pork into chunks and marinade for at least 1 hour or overnight

  • Soak the wooden skewers in water before using

  • Thread the meat onto the skewers and season with salt

  • Put on the grill, turn occasionally and brush with leftover marinade

  • Grill for about 6 mins each side
