How to purchase your ski pass

Buying your ski pass is simple! Once your holiday reservation is confirmed, you’ll gain access to our easy-to-use booking platform. Just enter the required details, including the age of each skier or snowboarder, the number of days you need, and the type of pass you’d like.

Once you’ve got your pass, zip it into your jacket’s designated ski pass pocket—usually located on the sleeve—and you’re good to go! Just brush against the sensor at the lift barriers, and you’re on your way. No need to dig out your pass every time you hit a lift!

Which ski pass should you choose?

The Full Portes du Soleil Ski Pass

For anyone beyond absolute beginners, the Full Portes du Soleil pass is a fantastic choice. This pass grants access to 12 resorts across the largest international ski area in the world! With 307 pistes spanning a huge 400 km² of skiing, this area is perfect for all skill levels—from beginners to expert skiers and snowboarders. You’ll have access to 33 black runs, 105 red, 130 blue, and 39 green, along with 208 ski lifts and 30 snowparks, boardercross, and ski-cross areas.

Our chalets are ideally situated to access key resorts such as Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Chatel, and the Swiss resorts. The Full Portes du Soleil pass is your ticket to endless exploration and unforgettable alpine adventures.

Morzine-Les Gets Ski Pass

If you’re an absolute beginner, the Morzine-Les Gets pass is ideal for your needs. This pass covers the beautiful Morzine-Les Gets area, but does not include the full Portes du Soleil region. Note: with this pass, you won’t have access to the Super Morzine or Prodains lifts, as they lead to the Avoriaz ski area.

The Morzine-Les Gets area offers a diverse range of terrain, from wide, tree-lined slopes to more challenging pistes and some off-piste areas. It includes 48 lifts and 69 slopes (9 black, 28 red, 29 blue, 3 green). You can also enjoy skiing directly into the towns of Morzine and Les Gets, plus take in the stunning Mont Chéry and Nyon areas—including the Nyon viewing platform at 2,109m for breathtaking panoramas from Mont Blanc to Lake Geneva.

A quick note: if you choose a 6-day Morzine-Les Gets pass and later want to ski the broader Portes du Soleil area, you won’t be able to upgrade your pass. Instead, you’d need to buy an additional lift pass, which works out more expensive. For this reason, we recommend the Morzine-Les Gets pass only for beginners or groups who plan to stay in this area all week.

Lift Pass Prices for winter 2024 – 25

The table below shows the pricing for our two most popular passes, including the late-season discount starting from April 2nd. Spring skiers, rejoice—this is a great opportunity to save!

Good news for young skiers!

For the 2024-25 season, skiers and snowboarders aged 16-25 can now qualify for a youth pass, part of an initiative to make the mountains more accessible to younger people.

Take good care of your ski pass

Misplacing your ski pass can be a hassle—and costly!

To avoid any inconvenience, we recommend noting down the unique number on your pass or taking a photo of it on your phone. In case you lose it, this makes it much easier to get a replacement at the lift office.

Also, make sure to keep your pass in the special ski pass pocket on your jacket—most outerwear has one on the sleeve for easy access at the ski lifts. Just remember to transfer it if you change jackets throughout your holiday.

How will your ski pass work on the mountain?

All Portes du Soleil ski passes are hands-free, making your lift access a breeze! Using NFC technology, similar to contactless payment cards, your pass will automatically register as you brush against the sensor at the lift barriers.

Simply zip it into your jacket pocket and forget about it—most lift barriers have sensors on both sides, so it doesn’t matter which side you store it on. Just be sure to keep your phone or other payment cards in a different pocket to avoid signal interference.

We really could not have been looked after any better: the hosts, drivers, and organisation were all exemplary: friendly, helpful and good-humoured. And the food… …yes, the food: absolutely superb, with a well-matched choice of wines
