The full height windows in the bright and airy living space give the sensation of being elevated over Morzine, giving truly spectacular views of the valley below. The chalet sleeps up to 12 in 5 ensuite bedrooms and almost every room in the chalet gives the opportunity to enjoy the sunny views over Pleney. The ski bus stops right outside the chalet and you can then hop straight into the superb outdoor hot tub to make the most of the beautiful scenery. There is also the possibility to take the small but perfectly formed Petit Lumina which is a self contained chalet right next door and sleeps an additional 2-4 people

Chalet Lumina Gallery

Lumina, meaning Light in Latin, only begins to describe the exceptional features this chalet has to offer. This 5 bedroom renovated farmhouse is a true jewel in the Alps.

It gets its name from the floor to ceiling windows that border the living space; offering panoramic south-westerly views of Pleney and the Morzine valley. This room, open to the sky and bursting with daylight, gives the sensation that you are suspended high above the valley. You feel closer to the swooping birds of prey and soaring parapenters than you do the ground, and it’s a sensation that follows you throughout the chalet.

Our stay at the Lumina Chalet was great. Everything was just as pictured, and the house is beautiful, with incredible views, and great big doors and windows that open up to expose you to the great fresh air :-) Hot tub was big and could fit 7 people, the beds were very comfortable, and robes supplied for everyone was a great touch. Kitchen equipped with plenty of dishes, pans, and even raclette/fondue tools. Thanks again!

The chalet is available to be booked for short breaks on a self catered basis during the low-season.

Sunday – Wednesday: €500/night
Thursday – Saturday: €600/night
Minimum of 2 nights

Viewing Summer 2023 (self-catered)

Exclusive use pricing:
Allows up to 8 persons. Additional persons (9-12 persons) will be charged at 50% of the guest per week price.
Price per person:
If no price per person is shown, the chalet price is the same regardless of the number of people. 

If a per person price is shown the price is based on 2 adults sharing a room.
2-12 year olds:
A 15% discount per child when travelling with a paying adult. A 30% discount per child when sharing a family room with their parents.
Under 2 years old:
A flat rate of €150 for children under the age of 2 when sleeping in a cot in an adult room.
Single person occupancy:
A 50% supplementary charge for single person occupancy.
Prices are in Euros:
The sterling amount charged will be based on your bank’s exchange rate at the time of payment.
Booking Deposit:
A deposit is required at the time of booking which is 25%. The balance is then to be paid 10 weeks prior to the start of your holiday.
Tourist Tax:
Taxe de Sejour (tourist tax) is not included in the price. The tax is calculated as 2.30€ per adult (18 years +) per night and is payable on arrival in resort.
Damage Deposit:
We also require a €500 refundable damage deposit to be paid 5 weeks prior to the start of your holiday
