Cannot recommend this Chalet and Alikats enough! The food was wondrous, the service impeccable and friendly. The chalet is a short drive from the slopes and they couldn't have made the whole experience more easeful or delightful. Highly recommend!

Although only a 10 minute drive from the Ardent lift, Riviere sits beside the river in a secluded part of Montriond. Surrounded by pine trees and overlooking the river, it offers a wonderfully calming space to retreat to after a long day on the mountain.

Each bedroom has been stunningly designed to combine crisp luxury with cosy Alpine chic. And if you’re looking for a particularly romantic experience, master bedroom Seine has it all. The spacious bedroom offers elegant wooden features, a queen-sized bed, and a balcony from which you can enjoy a glass of wine and stunning views of the valley as the sun sets on another day. Or if you’re in a more cosy mood, why not take a soak in the huge free-standing roll top bath? The waterfall shower can be accessed by both sides, and the bathroom offers 2 sinks, so you literally never have to be apart if you don’t want to be!

The other four bedrooms are located across the ground and first floor, and are all ensuite. A wonderful feature about Chalet Riviere is that all the bedrooms have access to a balcony. So embrace the mountains and breathe in the clear Alpine air every moment of your stay.

After you have relaxed and washed the day away, the spacious living room and roaring fire is ready to invite you. High ceilings and crisp white walls give a sense of openness and freedom, whilst wooden beams and rustic sofas welcome you to sink further and have another glass of wine. The kitchen is furnished to an incredibly high standard, with a double oven and long, large worktops. It even has a delightful island on which the hob is located, so you can enjoy long chats with friends as you rustle up one of our sumptuous self-catered meals; or watch your private chef prepare an award-winning three-course dining experience.

Floor Description

The Ground floor is the entrance to the chalet with the bootroom and the laundry just to the left as you walk in

The Garonne and Dordogne bedrooms are also on this floor and both have their own ensuite bathrooms and openings out on to the terrace. Each of these rooms can be configured as double or twin beds. Garonne also has sufficient space to accommodate a 3rd single bed (available upon request)

First Floor

Floor Description

The first floor is the principal communal living space in the chalet. It has open plan living room, dining area and kitchen with fantastic views down the river below

The Rhone bedroom has it’s own ensuite bathroom and balcony. The Loire room has it’s own bathroom with a bath right next door and the bedroom also has access to the balcony. Both of these rooms can be configured as double or twin beds. Loire also has sufficient space to accommodate a 3rd single bed (available upon request)

Floor Description

The top floor has a spacious snug with sitting area and television.

The Seine bedroom is the master bedroom of the chalet with lovely views on to the river below and a superb ensuite bathroom complete with shower, roll top bath and his and her sinks.

All single beds are 90×190cm. All double beds are 180x190cm

Location

Chalet Rivière is located in the Montriond area of Morzine.

During summer, enjoy a 15min walk to Montriond, where there are restaurants, bars and shops available. Or enjoy a scenic 30min walk up to beautiful Lac Montriond, a popular spot to relax, swim, kayak, paddle board and more in the warmer months.

Throughout the winter season, a complimentary slope run service is included, with return journeys to the ski lifts provided in an 8-seater minibus on six days of your stay. An additional minibus will be provided for groups of 9 or more, incurring an additional charge. This service is provided by our partners, Skiidy Gonzales, ensuring smooth and effortless access to the slopes.

If driving, there is ample parking space available at the chalet. (2min drive to Montriond, 8min drive to Morzine or Ardent Telecabine)

Exclusive use pricing:

Allows up to 10 persons. Additional persons (11-13) will be charged at 50% of the "per person per week" price for catered holidays

Under 2 years old:

A flat rate of €150 for children under the age of 2 when sleeping in a cot in an adult room.

Prices are in Euros:

The sterling amount charged will be based on your bank’s exchange rate at the time of payment.

Booking Deposit:

A deposit is required at the time of booking which is 30%. The balance is then to be paid 10 weeks prior to the start of your holiday.

Tourist Tax:

Taxe de Sejour (tourist tax) is not included in the price. The tax is calculated as 3.00€ per adult (18 years +) per night and is payable on arrival in resort.

Damage Deposit:

We also require a €500 refundable damage deposit to be paid 10 weeks prior to the start of your holiday
