Morzine chalets with incredible views
Morzine is surrounded by breathtaking mountains. They are a constant, beautiful companion no matter where you are or how you fill your days, so trying to choose which of our chalets boasts the best view is a harder task than you may think.
We’ve compiled a list of favourites based on our top four spots to enjoy a sunset – because there’s nothing quite like a sunset in the French Alps. From warm, snugly fireplaces to bright terraces with panoramic vistas, there’s a seat for everyone.
The best views from chalets in Morzine
Best view from a hot tub : Ferme à Jules
Fermes à Jules is a beautifully converted farmhouse nestled in the peaceful area of Montriond. Although a mere six minutes from the Ardent ski lift, Montriond offers an authentic, unblemished experience of the French Alps, and is the perfect year-round holiday destination for people who love the mountains. With original beams and hand-carved wooden features, Fermes à Jules has retained its alpine beauty inside and out. Although the beautiful scenery can be enjoyed from nearly every angle of this chalet, if you’re partial to a post-mountain soak in a hot tub, this is the spot for you. Unimpeded, sweeping views of the pine-kissed valley culminate in the beautiful profile of Mont Chery, as you sink lower into the bubbles and celebrate another day well-lived.
Best view from the dining areas – Chalet Debussy and Chalet Bizet
Chalets Debussy and Bizet are two halves of an outrageously beautiful farmhouse conversion. With graceful architecture, considered features and meticulously curated interior design, chalets Debussy and Bizet are the epitome of luxury. Their seemingly effortless elegance invites you to slow down, grab a glass of something good, and reflect on the peaceful presence of the mountains.
In Debussy, there’s no greater spot from which to do just that than the dining table. Enjoy a five star catered dining experience, or take a more relaxed approach in the summer and use our self catered food delivery service – however you tantalise your tastebuds, we can guarantee that the view will take your breath away. Be it the first, crisp rays of winter sunlight, or the pastel pinks and peaches of a summer evening; the light falls on the imposing silhouette of Nyon with all the drama and gravitas it deserves.
The same view can be enjoyed downstairs in Chalet Bizet, where the sophisticated living room opens through French doors onto a sweeping terrace and beautiful, open garden. Both the Chalet Bizet and Debussy hot tubs can be found down here, but the stunning views of Nyon and the valley’s alpine forests are at their most magnificent from the very middle of the terrace. Watch the birds of prey swoop across the sky as you cook up a summer barbecue, or snuggle under blankets and watch the stars twinkle above the snowy peaks as you plan your next winter adventure.
Best view from the fireplace: Chalet Lumina
Chalet Lumina – meaning light in Latin – gets its name from the floor to ceiling windows that surround the living space which fill the room with light from the moment the sun rises. A beautiful fireplace sits at its heart, and it is from here that the stunning panoramic views of Pleny and the Morzine valley are at their most spectacular. This room, open to the sky and bursting with daylight, gives the sensation of being suspended high above the valley in your own, luxurious nest. You feel closer to the swooping birds of prey and soaring paragliders than you do on the ground. So get the fire roaring and pour the wine as you pass the evening watching the lights of the valley twinkle far below.
Our chalets can be booked throughout the year and we guarantee the views are, without exception, breathtaking. Be it snow-capped mountains and bluebird skies, soft green meadows bursting with wild flowers, or the ruby and amber hues of autumn, the mountains are beautiful every day, and we have just the place for you to call home whilst you enjoy them.
