Ferme à Jules

The sides of the chalet mirror each other, with all four of the ground-floor bedrooms opening on to broad balconies with sweeping views of the valley. Here you can find respite and peace during those busy mountain days, or enjoy an indulgent glass of fizz in the glow of an Alpine sunset. Three of these rooms (Le Latay, Le Chenau and Les Gueritolles) also have bunk beds, so nobody need miss out on the adventures.

On this bottom floor you can also find a sauna and large, outdoor hot tub to soak and soothe those weary limbs.

Two more bedrooms are situated on the middle floor, and the remaining four are located by themselves on the third floor. Each bedroom is ensuite and has been curated to combine luxury with comfort. Their generous size and considered layout provide space for you to find peace and privacy in those important moments of alone time. However, once you’ve unwound and washed away the day, it is the communal spaces located on the middle floor that really bring Ferme á Jules to life.

The large dining area provides ample space for a pre-mountain breakfast or dinner-time feast, whilst maintaining a convivial feel. It is neither too big nor too small; it is the perfect space to enjoy one of our five-star hosted meals, or rustle up a gourmet self-catered meal package, whilst regaling the adventures of the day. Large French doors and wide windows provide views of the mountains from every angle, and high, wooden-beamed ceilings open the space as it fills with the collective laughter of a day well-lived.

After dinner, you can move through to the living area which is as stunning as it is inviting. Large, plush sofas are ready to catch you as you fall in front of the fire with a thoroughly-deserved digestif. Huge French doors open out onto a balcony, offering breath-taking views of the valley and mountains beyond. This is the perfect spot to chat with friends as you watch the sun fall behind the horizon. Or sit quietly with a coffee first thing on a morning before the world wakes up. Notice the dustings of snow that cap the trees after a snowfall, or listen to the songs of summer birds as they begin another day. Whatever you seek, this view is the place to find it.

The communal space also has a TV and games corner which is perfect for kids (young and old) to battle it out or just unwind. There is also a smaller kitchen mirroring that in the dining room.
