France is world-renowned for its exceptional wines, and we’re fortunate to have access to some of the best right on our doorstep. Each year, we carefully select a diverse range of outstanding wines, sourced from the finest French appellations and beyond.

Working closely with a wine consultant, we update our collection every winter to ensure a balance of quality and value. Certain staples remain consistent, such as robust reds from the Rhône Valley like Vacqueyras, perfect for pairing with hearty stews, roasted lamb, or steak. You can also expect crisp whites like Sancerre, a delightful selection of sparkling wines, and a refreshing rosé that’s perfect for those spontaneous afternoon aperitifs.

In addition to our French offerings, we feature some iconic Italian wines. Discover the deep, ruby richness of a Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, the elegant sparkle of our crystalline Prosecco, and the sweet, lightly sparkling Asti – an ideal way to round off the evening with dessert.

Pricing and purchasing

Our wines are competitively priced and available by the bottle. We also offer a convenient Sale or Return Scheme—if you have any unopened bottles at the end of your stay, you’ll receive a full refund for those wines. So don’t hesitate to stock up!

All of our wines are listed with detailed descriptions and occasional pairing suggestions in our online shop. Simply choose your favorites, and we’ll deliver them directly to your chalet. This service is exclusively available to guests staying in AliKats’ chalets.

Ibex Beer

We’re passionate about supporting local businesses, especially those that excel at their craft. Ibex beer is brewed right here in Morzine at the Ibex Microbrewery, using water sourced from the valley. Their brewing process is entirely hands-on, ensuring each batch is crafted with care by a dedicated team of local beer lovers.

Ibex has built a strong reputation in the Alps, thanks to its fantastic brews. Try the Cabin Fever, a smooth amber IPA with mellow bitterness, or the Neon Pale Ale for a bold, hoppy hit. Many of their core beers are low in alcohol, making them perfect for relaxed afternoons with friends in the chalet.
