The simple and fresh flavours of garlic, lemon and oregano are all you need to make delicious pork souvlaki. Juicy, zesty and mouth-wateringly good, these Greek skewers are sure to become a BBQ favourite.
Ingredients (to make 6 skewers)
250ml lemon juice
250ml olive oil
4 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp fresh oregano
1/4 tsp black pepper
750g pork loin or tenderloin
Add all marinade ingredients into a large bowl
Cut the pork into chunks and marinade for at least 1 hour or overnight
Soak the wooden skewers in water before using
Thread the meat onto the skewers and season with salt
Put on the grill, turn occasionally and brush with leftover marinade
Grill for about 6 mins each side
