Good sized rooms and facilities

Our family rooms are all en-suite and big enough for the whole family with ample storage for your ski luggage. Across all our chalets, we also provide sterilisers, changing mats, potties, toilet steps and seats, bed guards, high chairs and baby baths. Car seats are also provided in our heated mini-vans as part of our private chauffeur service.

Family mealtimes

Our delicious dishes are made from scratch using local, seasonal produce; you’ll find our family meals are full of fresh flavours and provide a good balance between healthy and indulgent.

If you have young children and are staying in a catered chalet, you can choose for a ‘kids dinner’ so your little ones eat earlier than the grown ups. We’ll provide a high tea at around 6pm. Our professional chefs create delicious home-made dinners such as fish goujons, chicken pie or cottage pie, and will cater for any allergies and take into consideration the requirements of any fussy eaters.

Self catered guests can select our meal delivery service to have scrumptious family-sized meals and children’s dinners delivered straight to the chalet.

Lifts to the ski slopes with your own private chauffeur

We know that ski boots are made for skiing, not walking. Your private chauffeur will help you get your little ones to the slopes and ski school in good time, and will get hungry kids back in time for dinner! We also have Maxi Cosi baby car seats, upright child seats with shoulder straps and booster seats, so no need to drag these out with you.

This service is included with all of our catered chalets. If you’re staying in a self catered chalet you can still benefit from lifts to and from the slopes from Chalet Lumina, Petit Lumina and Chalet Soleil d’Or.

We know keeping travel time to a minimum is every parents goal. Morzine is a great option for families, who can fly from the UK to Geneva airport in around 1.5 hours. Skiidy Gonzales, our trusted airport transfer partner of more than 10 years, will ensure you and any travel-wary kids are at the chalet 1.5 hours after landing in Geneva. Morzine has some terrific ski schools and private instructors to choose from. You’ll find ski tuition that matches your needs, whether that’s ski school for your child’s first week on the snow or freestyle lessons for your teenager. The first step for little kids from 3 and a half years old is Piou Piou, a fantastic slope-side nursery where kids discover the snow, take a ride on the magic carpet and make their first tracks on skis. At Piou Piou kids ski lessons and daycare can be combined in a half day package. Provide the child’s skiing level and age, and book early to avoid disappointment in school holidays.

The friendly ski technicians from Ski Mobile, our ski hire partner, will arrive at your chalet on the first night of your holiday to kit out the whole family, meaning you and the kids don’t even have to leave the premises to get your equipment sorted! Then they will pick it up from your chalet when you have finished with it, giving you more time to relax on the last evening of your holiday.

Families return to Morzine year after year because the Portes du Soleil is simply epic for skiing as a family! As your family’s skiing level evolves you’ll find a huge variety of terrain to discover. In total there are 650km of ski pistes, 12 resorts and over 30 snow parks within the ski area – all covered under one ski pass!

Morzine is a great ski area for children to learn and grow confident in skiing. The resort has plenty of gentle slopes, magic carpets and easy lifts that are brilliant for teaching kids to ski. As kids progress there are lots of green and blue runs to cruise around on and explore as a family; plus well-thought out, highly imaginative ski areas specifically designed for kids. The Penguin Park, The Milka run, Le Grand Cry (Native American themed ski area) and the ‘Lil’ Stash’, with its tree-houses and giant banana swing, are all not to be missed!

As competence grows, adventurous young skiers will enjoy progressing onto the many wide sweeping red runs, forest runs and snow parks. THE RESORT AND ACTIVITIES

Morzine is a lively and attractive ski resort, with a Family Plus label which makes the resort an excellent choice for families as many of the facilities, restaurants and ski areas have been designed with children in mind. From the little train that helps families get around the village, to the charming carousel, a fantastic sledging area and a massive igloo complete with its own ice sculptures, Morzine offers a diverse range of things to do with kids.

Morzine’s Swimming Pool

Morzine has a lovely indoor swimming pool complex which caters well for families with an Olympic sized pool, medium sized swimming pool and toddlers splash pool. The pool is open every afternoon in the ski season and is located in the centre of Morzine.
